Seneca Creek State Park, MD: Lizzy + Rob's Intimate Rainy Woodland Wedding

Seneca Creek State Park, MD: Lizzy + Rob's Intimate Rainy Woodland Wedding

This year has been one of the rainiest wedding seasons I've ever experienced! When it became apparent that there was a 100% chance of rain, I began to pray for a mist instead of a downpour. Luckily, the rain turned into a mist just in time for Lizzy to arrive at Seneca Creek State Park. After saying their vows surrounded by just close family and friends, Lizzy and Rob became husband and wife under Seneca's giant pine trees. We then explored the trails and took photos by the lake.

We hiked up to the balds at Carver's Gap on a perfect Fall evening for Ryan and Sara's intimate Roan Mountain wedding. Roan Mountain, TN: Zach + Daisy's Sunset Engagement Session on Round Bald

For Daisy and Zach's engagement session, Daisy asked if we could hike up Roan and if they could bring their dog, Dixie, along. You guys already know by now that dogs and mountains are two of my favorite things and especially spending time with my couples, so it wasn't tough for me to say, "Of course!" We spent one of the last warm evenings on top of Roan with Zach, Daisy, and Dixie, and had a great time laughing all the way to sunset.

Roan Mountain, TN: Alexis + John Michael's Intimate Summer Mountain Wedding on Round Bald

Lexie and John Michael chose to get married on top of Round Bald on Roan Mountain, which (as you all know) has a piece of my heart. After their first kiss as husband and wife, Lexie and John Michael gave each other a huge high five, followed by a hug. We then took our time exploring the mountain in our Chacos for portraits. It was truly a perfect Summer evening on Roan Mountain.
