If you’ve glanced around my website or followed my work for quite a bit, it’s no secret that I absolutely love photographing weddings on top of Roan Mountain and inside of Roan Mountain State Park! Roan has honestly given me so much— not only has it given me the most amazing couples to photograph, but its also a place of joy, refreshment, and solace. A place where I found myself photographically. It’s a new home for me and I’m so grateful.

With Leave No Trace being so important these days and as I book more and more mountaintop weddings, I’ve decided it’s time to give back! I’m excited to announce that I’ll be donating a portion of each Roan wedding booked directly to the Tennessee Eastman Hiking and Canoeing Club that is the maintenance club that takes care of the Appalachian Trail and balds at Carver’s Gap. This club also cares for the Beauty Spot and Laurel Falls— two of my favorite locations in east Tennessee on the Appalachian Trail. All donations to this club go directly to trail maintenance, cleanup, monitoring, re-building, etc. I couldn’t be more excited to support such a great club that takes such amazing care of our trails!

I will only be taking 5

Roan Mountain

weddings for 2020. I currently have 3 spots available.

In effort to keep our balds beautiful and wild, and also to keep my creativity at it’s height to give every couple a unique Roan experience, I’ve made the decision to only book 5 Roan weddings and elopements for 2020 and beyond. If you’re wanting photography for your Roan Mountain wedding, please inquire promptly using my contact form to secure your date!
