Well, folks, another year has come and gone and a new is on the way! Every year, I love to sit down at my computer and look back at all of the wonderful people I've met, the amazing places I've been able to see and everything in between. Here are some of my favorite images taken throughout the year, from weddings and engagements, musicians and custom drums, to camping trips and mountain views. I seriously cannot wait to see what adventures will come our way in 2017!Read More
Oh, Harper and the Bears!
This trio is full of surprises- jokes and laughs abound, and their sound is unlike any other I've heard. I was so excited to finally shoot them! I had known Harper for a while through my husband, Andrew, and was stoked when he asked me to do some promo shots for his band, Harper and the Bears.Read More
As Bristol was gearing up for it's annual music festival, Rhythm and Roots, I was gearing up for a shoot with the guys from Folk Soul Revival! I had previously met a few members through my husband, Andrew, but finally got to meet the full band. What a great group of guys- seriously! I was pretty much laughing the entire shoot from their jokes and funny antics.Read More
I recently had the incredible honor of shooting Amythyst Kiah, a folk and roots singer/songwriter based in North-East Tennessee, for Voice-Magazine for Women. It's been a whirlwind end of Summer! Seems like yesterday that I had just moved to beautiful North East Tennessee and was soaking up the rays at our local lake.
At the end of summer, I had the amazing opportunity to work with Arrow Music Agency and one of their talented artists, MacKayla Hunter. She's a country/indie singer living and working in Nashville, Tennessee.
I met up with her in Nashville for a big shoot day for promos for her new album. It was a loonggg day but incredibly worth it! We got to shoot at some amazing locations-- Antique Archaeology (the American Picker store!), the whole Marathon Village building (absolutely gorgeous), and Radnor Lake State Park. MacKayla is such a sweet and genuine soul, and I can't wait to hear her new album!
