Kaity and Kyle’s wedding in Middle Tennessee was my first wedding of the Fall season and we couldn’t have asked for more perfect fall weather (aka finally no rain)! Since Kaity and Kyle traveled to my neck of the woods for their engagement session at the Beauty Spot (you can see that here if you missed it), it was our turn to travel to their piece of Tennessee for their cozy, backyard, wedding!

My second shooter, Lakyn, and I arrived in Caryville, Tennessee the night before the big day and made sure our gear was ready to go. We stayed at the most awesome hotel- coffee available in the lobby 24/7, a beautiful lake view right across the street, and llamas in the back field behind the hotel! Yes, llamas! BUT, this blog isn’t about our hotel! We woke up the next morning and bundled up for the day. It was our first chilly wedding of the season so we donned our leggings and cardigan sweaters! We fueled up with coffee and breakfast and headed out to the venue- Kyle’s family’s church nestled in the mountains of Robbins, Tennessee.

When we arrived, family and friends were setting up last minute decorations as Kaity got ready inside the church. Their ceremony location was so neat! The altar was set up right in front of a pavilion/band stand that is in the yard of the church. They had tables for the reception set up around the ceremony area, so that it was an easy transition for guests! After Kaity got into her gorgeous, flowy, dress and Kyle put on his gray and navy suit, it was time for the first look. Kaity’s bridesmaids peered out of the church window as Kyle saw his bride for the first time! We then took the bridal party to an open field for portraits and wrapped up just in time for the ceremony.

Kaity and Kyle’s ceremony was super sweet and to the point! The two exchanged rings, said, “I do,” and tied the [literal] knot, then headed to the reception for amazing barbecue and bundt cake! I loved all of the personal little details to their reception, including salt and pepper shakers from Kaity’s collection as their centerpieces! As the sun went down, their family made a fire in the fire pit for roasting s’mores! After toasts, Kaity and Kyle played one of their favorite songs for everyone to dance to, ‘Dixieland Delight,’ by Alabama. Needless to say, everyone was clapping their hands, stomping their boots, and dancing to the classic tune. Guests wrapped up the evening and said goodbye to the newlyweds at a sparkler exit, as Kaity and Kyle ran under the sparks to their getaway truck! It couldn’t have been a more perfect fall evening in Tennessee.

Kaity and Kyle - - congratulations! Lakyn and I had the best time celebrating with you and your families in the mountains. We’re so happy for you two! Cheers to your next adventure together as husband and wife!

Big thanks to Lakyn Hayes of Lakyn Hayes Photography for joining me on this little road trip and for helping me out on the wedding day!

Huge thanks to all of Kaity and Kyle’s vendors who made their day amazing!
